Dimplex Firesplace on 2015 Montana 3440RL

I need to replace my Dimplex fireplace. Does anybody know if Keystone placed a hidden plug socked behind the fireplace or did they hard wire it?

Any comments about removing and replacing th fireplace will be appreciated.

Thanks

Our 2014 3850FL had a plug. Worst case, if yours is hardwired you can install a wall plug or remove the male plug on the new unit and hardwire the replacement.

I don't know which brand of fireplace I have - it is in a 2013 Mountaineer. It has a glass lower section with the fake fire behind it and a full width louvered thing on top that flips down. Behind that are the controls. My thermostat has never worked - always on or off. For the life of me I can not find any screws to remove anything. There IS a wooden border on the sides and bottom about 1 1/2 inches wide but appears to maybe have screws inside holes plugged with a dowel. Any suggestions for removal?
Sorry to hijack this thread. Thanks.

Bob - measure your unit and report the size. I found lots of Dimplex (plug in) electric fireplaces. I was guessing at the size for the unit in the screen shot below. Also a couple of screen shots from the Owners Manual. It looks like the glass front may be held on by clips and will pull off, exposing a flange with screws holding it to the wood framing.
