Price Increase - Fact or Fantasy

I understand that prices have gone up and the resale market is stronger right now, but I think someone is living in Fantasy Land on this one

But who knows...there's a sucker born every minute

Price increase is real. High demand with low availability.

Even with high demand that’s crazy but who knows…maybe they’ll find their perfect buyer.

That’s $92k in Oregon dollars. When you do the conversion it’s more like $40,000 US dollars.

Folks can ask whatever they want and if he finds someone to pay that we'll all look foolish. All it takes is another person who did no research.

We're looking for a used truck camper for excursions that aren't well suited to taking the Montana. Seeing the same kind of ridiculous "asking prices" for them. We're expecting a glut in the not too distant future so we're waiting it out.

With the fires out here in the west, prices are over the top. I have driven by a few dealer here in Idaho and there are maybe one or two on the lot. Just had a friend sell his 16' Artic Fox for 40,000 hd the sign on it a total of 8 days.

Someone might talk him down to $85,000 and think they got a great deal.

Does seem extreme. We sold our 2018 3791Rd a few months back for $110k and the folks flew in to SE Texas from near the Cape in Florida to pick it up. Admittedly, we threw in the '17 Dually Ram in mint condition, 30k miles and new tires. It was a good deal for all. But $93k!! Yikes!!

Depending on the particulars of your truck (trim) the prices for those are high right now too, I have a 2017 RAM I bought used in 2018 with 9000 miles on it. I was just offered $8,000 more than I paid for it and it now has 61000 miles on it. Go figure. I didn’t sell because then I wouldn’t have anything to pull the Montana and getting a replacement truck is about 6 months out.
