lippert popping eliminated
Saturday when I set up I did NOT use the self leveling system but did it the old way with a level on the floor & swinging the bathroom door . I haven't recalced auto level to my version of level yet anyway, so I always break out the level & adjust whichever side needs up, anyway I pushed the buttons to get it were I wanted it & it has not popped once since. I don't know if the auto level valve has a problem or what. In my rig the popping was the rig lowering that's why Lippert said you are supposed to re level every two weeks (according to my dealer). I have found that mine only pops during hot weather. Have not heard that about re leveling every 2 weeks. Have been on present site for 3 months now while getting medical attention and have not had any problems.

Ours popped constantly & would require releveling every couple weeks The popping was really annoying, I mean if you walked from end to end all six levelers would pop in sequence, if you rolled over in bed... pop pop. As mentioned before our dealer told us Lippert said that's how it is & you have to relevel every couple weeks. We contacted Lippert direct & was told to use a Qt. (they had several to pick from) of special oil as others have mentioned on MOC posts to help with the problem. Lippert also said to run it thru 40 cycles of jacks all the way extended then all the way retracted. Seemed like a lot of effort to go thru 40 cycles to me. Now no popping & I'm very pleased about it as I was about to get the new Qt Of fork oil & deal with it.

Mine finally stopped after about a year of full time use where we move on average every two weeks. I just noticed it was gone this week. Guess I got used to it.

Ours did it for a couple of weeks, but doesn't anymore. I would only relevel if the ground settled.

We have never had to re level although we check it for level when on our Florida site for 6 months. Ie have occasional popping and it seems only when the weather is chilly.

We have waited almost 9 months for our popping to go away, it didn't. Figured I would do the quart replacement fix immediately prior to taking off for Florida. My thinking is that we would be retracting/extending several times plus all the shaking down the road.....should mix that replacement quart in the system pretty good.

This was a topic in one of the seminars at the fall rally. Part of the "popping" is caused by expansion and contraction of the hydraulic fluid from temperature changes. You can also use the arrows on your auto level screen to scroll through and see how level your rig is.
