Balancing beads vs fluid

I just ordered Dana Balancing Beads for my RV. Never used them and not sure how they work but work they do. My son has 40' diesel pusher and when he had new tires installed they used the beads and his runs 75 MPH smooth. On Myrvtalk forum everyone sings praise for KTB balancing fluid.
I know a lot of tire manufactures void any warrantee if used. I know that a lot of over the road trucks use the beads.

I've used Dyna bead in my motorcycle for years, not sure how good they are for trailer, but would suspect they would also work there.

I just spun balanced my tires when I put them on last year. Got 6K miles on them now with no cupping or feathering. I used the balancing beads in the steering axle tires on a previous class A Motorhome I owned. The beads did take out a shimmy I could feel through the steering wheel. Not sure if it is necessary on a trailer.

I used the beads in my diesel pusher. Front axle only. Perfect for over 20K miles.

When I put on the Duravis 250 I was brain dead and just had them spun balanced. Probably should have used beads. I had to order them for my M/H. No one had bags that small. Only for huge tires like on 18 wheelers.

I had a blow out on my motor home. Micheline voided the warranty because of the beads

Yep, that is one of the down sides of the beads. Doesn't make sense they will cover a tire that hasn't been balanced but will not cover one with balancing beads.
I know they work as my son's 40' diesel pusher has nothing but beads in all 6 tires and it is smooth as any balancing.

Talked to my nephew today about balancing bead. He owns a tire shop and also three 18 wheelers that haul grain. He is using the bead in his trucks and said they work great. Never has to balance any tire on his trucks and recommends the beads to his customers at the tire shop also.

Companies look for an eccuse to not cover the warrenty.

I purchased mine from this site. They do appear to work. I have them in the RV and TV tires.

This question was raised to the Tredit rep at this year's rally. I don't remember his reply verbatim, but he did say manufacturers do not recommend them due to concerns of extra generated heat and wear to the inside of the tire. There was also discussion about hub-centric vs lug-centric (the wheels on our Montanas) balancing. Apparently very few places are able to balance lug-centric tires and wheels.

Don't shoot the messenger.
