Zenith TV Remote Codes
Anyone know the three digit code for the Zenith TV. Trying to use the Dish remote and cannot find the correct code to program it for the Zenith. Thanks.

According to my Dish Digital Remote Control User Guide there are three device codes for the Zenith TV. They are 501, 518, 693. Remember that you have to press the # button after entering the code. If this does not help, let me know and I will give you the procedure for scanning the TV to find the proper code.

Bob-
Here is the page that gives the instructions for device code scanning.
It does say that it might not work will all devices.
Hope you can find the right code....

Thanks Charlie, it works! Used the info you sent and it was a success! Still have not given up on getting the receiver (two tuners) to allow different channels in bedroom and living. Oh well another day another challenge!

Wait, one receiver to allow different channels? That's not gonna happen...Dish receiver does not translate to RF band it is one channel only. Maybe this is a multiband thingy with Dish network receiver...have no clue on that one as I'm a DirecTV customer and happy with them.

We have the Dish 625 receiver which has two tuners, tuner one goes to channel three or four the other to channel 21 or higher for tuner two. At the stick house we have the receiver in the bedroom. The unit comes with two remotes and in the kitchen we just have to second remote which will go through walls. It works great. Hope to resolve this before we head back north to Spokane.

Buffpilot: What you say is true. I also have the same dish receiver the at home, with a tv in the living room and one in the bedroom. The jack on the back of the receiver, labeled tv2, must have a physical cable connected to it and to the tv at the other end, being your second tv. it will not work without any other way. I am trying to figure out how to back feed a cable to the bedroom in the monty and then it will allow me to select different channels on each tv . I hope this helps. Let me know how it works, when you figure out how to backfield a cable to the other tv.

I don't know if you have seen this coax wiring diagram for the Montana or if it will even help, but here it is. I think that you can send the Sat signal up to the bedroom via the 2nd tuner.

Hope it helps.

I had the same problem getting the 2 TV's to get a different channel with my 522 receiver. It also has 2 tuners. At the stick house I had two cables coming in to the tuner. I only have one with the dish I use when in the Monty. I was asked by my local satellite support person if my dish said "Dish Pro" or "Dish Pro Plus" If it says "Dish Pro Plus" then I can get 2 signals down one cable. All I had to do is get a splitter at the receiver. Works great!
Hope this helps.

Thanks, I have the Dish pro plus so, should be able to get both tuners on one wire. We will be moving to Corpus Christi area after Christmas and will check out my wiring, I may have hooked up the diplexier incorrectly. Thanks again

Bob-
Where in the Corpus area will you be? We plan to be in Port Aransas over New Year's weekend.
