Wyoming Wonder--Peter D's RV Park, Sheridan

Somewhere on the MOC site someone recommended Peter D's in Sheridan WY as a nice spot to stop. Thank you!!!! It was GREAT! Small but immaculate with all the sites properly angled and utilities well situated for us. Baths and laundry spotless. Close to the hi-way but quiet. AND they had a $1 shuttle to take you downtown. Very convenient. Book ahead on this one as they were full the night we were there and as the word gets out they should be full all the time. A definite 10 for the hi-way traveler.

We stayed at this park one night this past summer. It was a nice park, but the next morning about 10AM, we got a knock on the RV door and it was the manager wanting to know if we were staying over another night? We were just getting up and having our coffee and not quite dressed. It appears that Peter D's checkout time is 10AM instead of the usual 12 noon. So if you stay there get up early and hit the bricks!

Sounds like my kind of park. "Close to the hi-way but quiet", seems every park we choose just for the night is just a few feet from the interstate or busy truck stop. Noise all night long.
As far as the 10AM check out that's cool with me as when I am staying "overnight" I am usually up well before 8 and on the road by 8:30. As a matter of fact, We rarely if ever sleep past 8AM. If you ever find us asleep past 8AM you better have someone ready to dial 911.

If we ever get to Wyoming, and we will, I will have to check out Peter D's in Sheridan.
