Have you stayed here?
Has anyone stayed at Loveland Station RV Park near Loveland, CO. The price is so right that I question the quality.

I googled Campground rating and came up with a link: www.campgroundreviews.com
I haven't checked the site out yet but it might be a handy tool to bookmark.

Stiles,
I know that you already know this but...... "If it sounds to good to be true it probably is."
Let us know how it turns out. Later, Dennis

One of the parks that we have stayed at in Washington State is on the list and some of the reviews for it "hit the nail on the head" as far as accuracy. But I do agree with what HamRad said!!

Stiles,
Have not stayed at that park but have stayed on the other side of town going to Estes Park. Here is a link so you can compare.
http://www.riverviewrv.com/ This park was about average, some live-ins but not many and the managers were friendly. We stayed riverfront twice. If you have never been there Loveland is a nice area and not far from Estes Park.

I have googled the campground for reviews, checked both Woodall's and Trailer Life directories. I can find the RV parks site, but no other outside information or reviews.

Stiles, if you can't find out anything about it, you could look on Google Earth and see what it looks like from above. Also Google maps sometimes gives you a street view. We use both of these all the time. Just a thought.

Never been there. The web site makes it look OK. The price makes it look OK. Wonder what the neighbor hood makes it look like? Let us know if you find anything else about the park.

Maybe a call to the Chamber of Commerce or police department in that city/town is in order.

I think I know why the price is roughly half of the competition. On Google Earth, you can see what appears to be a well laid out RV Park........near the freeway and near a railroad. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't also in a flight path. On the day the photo was taken, the place looked as if the census was high. Hmmmmmm.

We stayed at Riverview at Loveland, last Fall. It was an ok park. Not fancy but decent. We were backed up to the river. It was a quiet park and just a few miles outside Loveland, towards Estes Park.

We have driven thnrough the parks at Loveland, Co, and have only stayed at Riverview, about 5 or six miles West of Loveland. Our observation is Riverview is the best park. The last time we stayed there the park had a local band playing music one evening in the Activities room.

If you would rather stay at a Colorado State Park, rather than a commercial, We recommend Boyd Lake State Park just north of Loveland. We enjoyed our stay there over 3 days. I has hookups, a nice lake for boaring and/or swimming, a nice clubhouse, and some shade sites with plenty of room.
