I usually convert the pdf files to jpg files and then post them as one would normally do with a picture. There are free converters that are available by searching the internet. There may be other ways, I think the newer versions of Adobe can actually save as a jpg, but I am not sure.

JPG are the only way on the forum. A PDF can be added to the WEB page but that is different than the forum. So the PDF has to be hosted on some WEB page first then linked to it.
That is how I understand it.

Too bad there isn't an easier way, but I guess there are tech reasons for why we have to take a "longer way around the barn."

The forum does not store any data used in posts, it only links to it. The photos are only links to them stored on some other web server.

So, if I understand, current procedures lend themselves to using less storage space?????
