We (wife and I) spent a week here this past summer...was beautiful until Ernesto rained on our party!
National Park is the best...this is the place where the horses are king so don't leave your food out as they could care less about that expensive canvas tent or screen room.

Nice pictures. We were there with our granddaughters in the spring of 2005 and really enjoyed the area. We were not right in the park as you were, though. We stayed down south in Virginia but soon discovered to really see the ponies and enjoy the place we needed to be in Maryland. So we made the drive several times. Our granddaughters had a ball.

Which park were you in? I take it there are no hookups? We'd need full hookups so will look probably for a private park for next April when we hope to be in the area again. Maybe.

Steve, There's a good park in Chincoteague (Tom's Cove)w/full hookups and waterviews. Warning: Coming into town after the bridge you have to turn sharp right to get there. A pole sticks out of the curb and makes the turn a challenge. Almost lost my awning!
