Mt. Shasta in April??

I know many of you have been to Mt Shasta before and will be there for the Spring Rally but we can not make it this year and still get to Alaska by the 1st of June. We will be leaving Chico the end of April and wonder if any of you know what the weather usually is at that time in Shasta. We do not want to encounter snow this year. Been there, done that for over 60 years so can you give us an idea what to expect at that time? It looks so beautiful, we don't want to miss it.

Well, we've lived here close to 30 years and have never seen weather patterns in March like we've had this year, so I can't guarantee anything at this point. Average April temps range from 60-70 during the day with lows 35-40 at night. Average April precipitation is 2.5 inches.
