RECALL NOTICE

We received our recall notice Saturday regarding the rivets on the steps of our 3850FL.
I had seen a discussion about this once before on the forum. I do wonder though, does this cover both the front AND back steps??
Any feedback?

We have the same year and model, but haven't gotten a recall notice. Did you get it via US Mail, email, or some other method?

got our recall notice also on step rivets. 2014 3625rl. called my tech at dealer and told them and he said just bring in the recall and we will order hardware and when it comes in we will call and get you right in and fix it.

Check the frame of the steps. When I examined mine for the rivet problem I found cracks at both lower corners of the frame. We are not large people and cant belive they have failed in this way. Very poor quality step. I received my recall on the rivet problem yesturday, they are bent and ready to fail also!!

Yep got my recall notice yesterday and yes it covers both sets of stairs like I have, I had 2 break and just fixed it myself with good step bolts WAY better than new,some things I just fix myself instead of hauling the 5er down to a dealer for something that is not very hard to fix and cheap,Also you got have step supports they are cheap and make them safe and steady

Just got our recall notice today.

As for Hilton Head, my husband and daughter are foodies. Our family's must do's are checking out as many restaurants as possible. There are so many great ones on HHI. Believe it or not, one of the best of the best is "Wise Guys". I thought we were going to a pizzaria, but when we got there it was one of the lovliest places I've ever been to, and both the food and service were top notch. There's also an adorable Irish shop on the way in, with a lovely proprietress. I wish I could remember the name of the shop, but it escapes me. I'm sure the folks at HHI RV Resort will be able to steer you there if you're interested.

Have a great time! We can't wait to go back.

Recall came in yesterday by mail. One rivet on each step has broken.

Recall came on Friday but had already made an appointment with the dealer and they have ordered to replacement parts! The dealer had the notice prior to me even mentioning it!
