Shoulder Surgery

Just got home from having my shoulder operated on. " I can't feel my arm!" Yea, it is there, but can't feel anything. The good thing about that is that the pain is gone, for now. Until the block wears off, then the dr. says I will hurt again for a few days. Hey, Jack, I have been hurting for four years so I can handle a few more days. Plus, I've got some good drugs now to help out. GOD was with everyone in the OR today so I knew everything was going to be OK. Can't wait to get back in the Monte. Everyone stay safe out there and Keep Kampin'.l

We will add you to our prayer list for continued healing to descend upon you Steve. Sounds like you are on the way already. A faithful attitude gets you there a lot faster!!

Steve,
Sorry to hear you've had to have surgery but glad you are home and that the operation went well. Remember that the PT is THE thing that will make the difference. Continued good luck. Dennis and Mary Kay

Sounds like you’re on your way to feeling much better. Been there done that and sometimes surgery is a good option. Keep the positive attitude and continue to give the credit where credit is due.

Thanks for all of the positive comments. Day one, am able to move and rotate the arm more than before surgery. Sling is off and bandages come off tomorrow. Pain meds are good, but already cutting them back. I am lucky to have a good "nurse" at home to help me out. Thanks again to everyone for the thoughts and prayers. God s wonderful and he continues to be the great physician. Keep Kampin.

My co-pilot had her shoulder worked on May 6th and started PT on 5/31. So we understand what you are going through. Hope your recovery is swift and successful..

Hope you have a speedy recovery. We're with John Kohl, and I'm sure he can help you in many ways should you call upon him, as I know he has done in the past!
