Slides in or out ,locks and alarm systems

Sometimes my mind wanders from subject to subject so this line of questions kind of goes that way. I work 4-10's so very soon we should be spending hopefully 3 days a week at the camp ground. This is our first trailer. Just recently my wife said," I guess when ever we leave the trailer at the park we should put the slides in" and of course I kind of agreed because it does make sense. I am sure that people who fulltime and may stay continuously at one place would have the slides out for quite a long time. Maybe it is better to leave them out because you are not bending the flexible connections for the kitchen stuff all that often. Then I got to thinking about maybe I wouldn't have to buy a lock for the outside pin or wheel chock because it would be hard to steal if the sides were out. Of course maybe they can be operated from the outside with out getting inside but this is all new to me so I am not sure. The other thing I was wondering about if anybody ever put an alarm system of sorts or added locks to thier fifth wheel. Not extremely worried about it getting stolen or broken in to but just in case you just don't want to make it easy for someone. We are in WV and a brand new Montana would make a great hunting camp for somebody and be very hard to find in them hills. Again this is all new to me.
