Shore Hills CG, Maine

Greetings, If I am remembering correctly, wasn't there a MOC Rally in Maine last year? And wasn't it at Shore Hills CG? If so, we are planning a trip there this spring and just wondering how the CG was? I did a search in the forums but came up empty. Any information would be appreciated.

We stayed at SH cg many times, it's a nice place. You can get sun or shade sites. The location is good also. yes Moc did have a rally there.

Yes...it was the location on the 2011 NE Rally (Location: Shore Hills Campground, 553 Wiscasset Road, Boothbay, Maine 04537. Web site: www.shorehills.com Phone: 207-633-4782) it was a great campground. Highly recommend it. You can look under the topic of Rallies NE Region.

Hey Bob, be sure to go to Red's Eats at 41 Main St., Wiscasset and enjoy the best Lobster Rolls anywhere. They cost about $16.00 per roll but it's all lobster and no filler. Awesome. The folks at Shore Hills were great. They also have a shuttle bus from the CG to downtown Boothbay Harbor. Lots of light houses to visit as well.

There is a place just down the road from the CG heading to Boothbay on the left about 1 to 1-1/2 miles. Small place, but the lobster was very good and steamed after i picked them out. Just don't look around LOL.
