Led lights under awning

Anyone have a problem with the led lights strip under the awning ( twisting, warping with the plastic track. Looks like a snake) ? How can this be fixed? Can it be fixed? To me it looks like the plastic track slides in with the awning track at the same time the awning was installed. If so , it will stay that way This on a big sky unit 2014. Thanks for any help. Liked nice when new

Mine crapped out after 3 months on my 2015 and they were warped and not very bright so I just replaced the whole thing with a new plastic channel and light MUCH BRIGHTER and not a big deal to take off the old track and install the new, the old track is connected to the awning but I just grabbed one end and pulled it off, then you just clean the area with rubbing alchohol and stick the new track on then stick the light strip into the channel and wire it up and you are done, not sure how long yours is on your model but but mine was about 16 ft and this is where I bought it http://www.ebay.com/itm/RecPro-RV-16...item418451ca2d and by the way when your front eyebrow lights crap out too(and they will) ALOT brighter new one's can be had for about 10 bucks

We purchased our 2014 Big Sky off the lot new last year and it was like that too...had them replace under warranty. I just checked it because we had some HOT (for us...88F) weather today and they are still straight and bright.

Yep ours is warped at 2 spots...figuring the only way to fix is with a heat gun (slowly) to heat up and try to straighten out or remove and replace.

You're welcome partner, here is a link to the Cap lights http://www.ebay.com/itm/x2-24-RV-LED...sAAOSwcwhVKDA6 they are blue instead of white as I could not find white but I like them better and they are WAY brighter than the old and these are even easier to install just make sure you wire both of them right and use clear caulking to seal up the holes where the wires come out
