Inverter for TV and Receiver

I have a 3000RK and want to install an inverter just to run the TV, DirectTV receiver, and DVD player. Does anybody have any suggestions on the best way to do this? What size inverter would be best? What kind would be best? Should I have a seperate battery or use the golf cart batteries I have? What is the best way to wire it? Any help would be appreciated.

I have a 1800watt inverter from camping world to run my tv and sat no problems with the unit I got from them it has a auto transfer switch built into it so if its on and we hook to shore power or turn on the gen it auto transfers to the outside power source without hurting the inverter I found mine online at camping worlds web site just typed in inverter and got a ton of info on all types of inverters if you need the model number or anything just shoot me a PM I have 6 12volt batts split into two banks installed as we do a ton of dry camping out here so I installed a batt A/B switch so I can run either bank of batts or all of them for recharging if I can be of any help just let me know I am very happy with the way ours works next I may install solar for charging and maybe a bigger inverter to be able to run more things but thats down the road a bit good luck and let me know if you need help
