Black Water Tank
We have a 2005 3400RL, we bought new and now need to replace the black water tank, can can anyone tell us what #tank this is? We are in FL for the winter near Ocala. Thanks Has anyone ever done this job themselves and how involved is it???!!!!

Wow, another one! Tanks should have tags on them. Of course, to access the tag, you'll have to drop the belly membrane. I sure wouldn't order a tank without getting the info directly from the tank.

I can't help you with the tank # but I sure can recommend Suncoast RV to you. They are right on Hwy 441... Tri-Am is very good also but the folks at Suncoast went overboard for us...

You will need to drop the underbelly there will be a tag attached with the manufacturer and part number. On a 05 it MAY be travel Star in Goshen. Need to see the tag to be sure.
It is not a job I would do myself...

I just had mine replaced and the dealer dropped part of the belly to check the tank and the number, then ordered from Keystone. Norris RV in Casa Grande installed it in one day. In at 8 am and 0ut at 4 pm. So far, so good. I think this is a job better left to the pros. Our ext warranty company paid all but $200,(our deductible), of the $1030 bill.
