New Full Timers

Me and My wife are just purchased our new to us 2012 Montana 3885SA and are looking forward to going on the road full time here shortly as we work on moving our residence to south dakota.

The Previous owners named her Millie and we liked the name we kept it. They also did alot of work on the inside removing all of the carpet and replacing it with a nice wood floor even on the slides.

I have already put alot of work into her replacing the battery, Tires, and several Misc items like the toilet and screen door latch that were not working correctly though i still have a few more things i will need to work on as my city water connection no longer works and there is a small soft spot on the roof which is not causing any problems right now

Our first destination is southern New Mexico to visit her family until it starts to get cold and then move further south to southern texas to visit my snowbird grandparents. No idea where to from there but thats the whole point. being free to go anywhere

Congrats on getting your rig and welcome to MOC. You found a great bunch of folks here with lots of knowledge. Sounds like some good work has been done. Good call on not changing the name. Never changed the name of a vessel for it was bad luck, may be the same with RV's.
