Crack in countertop

OK We are well out of warranty and I just noticed about a 2 inch crack in our countertop. Can anyone tell me how to repair it?

I don't think there is a good repair, more like you have to replace it unfortunately.

Now that ours is out of warranty, I really think I would just replace it with corian if it ever cracks. I think the cost through the dealer would be about the same with either material.

Another option is to just replace it locally with another counter top material.

JimandKathy, I have an appointment at the Keystone factory to have my '06 3400 countertop looked at. Preliminarily, the service guy says they have someone that can repair the fiberglass tops. We will see what they say come the 23rd of Sept. If not repairable we may opt for a Corian top, out of pocket, of course. If you can wait that long, I will post our results.

We tried using Gorilla glue on our sink tops and it didn't work. Bob used a syringe to shoot it under the break, but it didn't work. Silly us, we should have complained when we were under warranty. I am worried that the coffee pot will cause a crack, so am now putting a cutting board under anything that might warm the top.

Guess i need to look for some type of heat pad to put under everything. I used the crock pot the other day, good thing we weren't away from the trailer as I think it would have cracked the entire top if I hadn't checked the cutting board.

Not one of my top ten votes on my Montana. Wish they had used something more durable.
