Vinyl Skirting

We are full timing in eastern WA and looking for someone that can fabricate and install vinyl skirting around the Monty. I am wondering if any MOCers out there know of anyone in our neck of the woods that can do that? We are in the Moses Lake area. Thank you in advance for any leads you may have!

We purchased the 100' kit at the link below and did our own, turned out pretty good and was not hard to do.

Thanks! I'll have a look, might be the way to go! I look at the website a little bit and I noticed that hooks are screwed into the studs. I am a bit worried about screwing anything into the side of the Monty. Did you use hooks? If so, any words of advice?

Thank you for your input!

mine are the stainless steel snaps and yes they screw into the lower sides of the Monty. The first one is the hardest!

On a side note, I kept the screw/snaps as level and evenly placed as possible and they are really not notacible. They are low enough that they attach to the lower panels (below floor level) and not the "sidewalls" with the exception of the slides.

Good luck

Phil

So there is no worry about screwing into any plumbing or electrical along the lower level? Isn't the lower level the plastic siding? Is it sturdy enough? Our biggest fear is that we screw into something or make holes only to find we did it wrong.

Thank you so much for the info!

Hi,
We had our skirting made in Moses Lake !
Tim Merritts Upholstery

It was around $1,400.00 has held up good. We had the turn buttons put on ours instead of the snaps,on our other trailer, the snaps come out.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Roamingusa, unfortunately I did not see your post until after we ordered skirting through Bud's in Pasco. They measured and will be installing in a couple of weeks at a whopping $2500! OUCH

I will keep Tim's number on hand for others that might inquire in our park and for future reference. One question: Did they install?

Thanks again all!

Yes, he was out several times to measure and put the unfinished skirting on temp. to make sure the measurements were right.
We paid $1600.00.
