Rims for G614 tires

So how do you know if your rims will take the G614 tires at 110 lbs
I have been under my rig and I see it is stamped Max 3500 lbs but nothing about the PSI in the tires. I have a 2009 with Copper tires on now at 3042 Lbs per tire but if I upgrade , how do I know

If the rims are stamped 110 PSI, you are good to go. Look on the back side of the rim. Mine are stamped into the aluminum, others say they had a sticker.

sailer,
Like nosticks states some have a sticker. Our 08 had a sticker on each rim. The 10 has the PSI rating cast into the back of a spoke. See the link: PSI Rating

I was told on this forum if they did not have the sticker or 110 psi stamped on them , if they had TR6 on the inside of one spoke they were rated for 110 psi. That was what is on my 2008 3400RL. Some may verify that again.

Hi

Weigh your trailer to see what the axel weights are then use the tire inflation chart. The chart indicates we should be running 95 Psi. but we have 25,000 mile at 110 Psi. with no problem. We have the TR6 wheel.

My original rims were NOT rated for 110 PSI. Purchased new high pressure rims and metal valve stems gor my g16's, what a GREAT tire.

Here is the way it looks on the back of one of my wheels. This information is only stamped on one of the spokes. The other spokes have various other info stamped on them.

r,
Jack

John, since yours say 3500 lbs I'm doubtful they're rated for 110 psi. Like Jackel's, ours say 110 psi and 3750 lbs. Ours are the oem rims. I could be wrong, though, about yours.

Just went through this process in obtaining all metal valve stems for 614 tires. Talked with Tredit Wheel and Tire to determine which rims are on the '11 3400RL. The rim pictures they furnish are on their website. Looking at the website pictures is how we determined the exact rim. Neither Keystone nor Tredit could determine which rim I had without using the pictures. My rims are the TO4, 8 spoke which are stamped 110 PSI on one spoke on the inside along with the max weight which I can't remember.

My rims have the TR6 on the rims on the back stamped in so they should be good for 110 lbs

Hopefully you are wrong, was told on THIS forum that the TR6 stamped on the back of mine were good for 110 psi., and has the 3500 lb rating. Either way I have been running G614's on them for about 6500 miles with 95 psi in them. No problems. I will never run 110 in them ,there is no need for my weight.

John, You need to get in touch with Tredit Tire and Wheel in Elkhart, a Mr. Ball. Tredit removed the official certification on these wheels which means they are NOT certified for 110 psi nor 3750 lbs. Richfaa can give you more info on this.....or you can search for his posts on this subject.....

Phil, did they pull it for all of them? I thought it only had to do with withdrawing it for those to whom they gave stickers to put on the rims. In other words, at one point they said they're all ok for 110 and 3750 and handed out stickers for those whose rims didn't already have the sticker or stamp on them. Later they withdrew that certification. But those rims that had been stamped at the factory and those that had stickers attached at the factory retained the certification.

It is definitely possible I misunderstand and that's why I'm asking the question. Did I misunderstand? Thanks.
