Montana's Still On Top!

In case you didn't see it, here's a link to a recent article in RV Business on the top-selling brands of RVs.
http://www.rvbusiness.com/2011/02/he...elling-brands/

And the #1 Class A diesel-powered motorhome is what we now own! Can we pick 'em, or what?

It's also funny how Keystone keeps making so many submodels part of the Montana Line: Montana, Montana Big Sky, Montana Mountaineer and now Montana High Country. But whatever helps the membership, then hoo-rah!

When they get older, they start to come apart.

It's nice to see that Keystone pays attention to MOC.

Keystone President Bob Martin said the Montana has staying power for several reasons with customer loyalty being high on the list.

”Loyalty is important,” said Martin, whose Goshen, Ind., company hosts about 100 Montana owners at a rally each fall at the nearby Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds. Many of them have bought five or six Montanas over the years.

”Members of the Montana Owners Club are incredibly loyal,” he added. ”After they buy a Montana, they just won’t buy anything else. Montana is user friendly and loaded with features with quality that no one else can match.”

If you're reading this Keystone.... Thank you for getting rid of the two tone cabinets in the High Country....

If loyalty is SO important, how about Keystone pays to fix the defective decals THEY installed. Sorry for the thread creep. Just found out today, Keystone will provide replacement decals (small price) but not labor (big price). This is my second Montana. I consider myself loyal (for now, pending the decal issue resolution).

re the decal issue. it has been going on for some time on several brands. The mystery is why do a few fail(only the failed ones are reported on the forums) yet the majority do not. Our 06 Graphics have never cracked, peeled or shrunk. There is more to the cause of the failures and it is addressed at evey fall rally.Under the circunstance IMO keystone is being fair in replacement decals.

Now if our graphics do fail they will come off and not be replaced.

Yes, we have been looking at many 2011 5th wheels and keep coming back to the 3400RL Montana LOL!! We are now contemplating the new 2012 3400RL and hopefully with a Level-Up system included!!
Decals, I give up! There are three 3400Rls in this small park; 07,08 and an 09, they are all peeling in some fashion. The graphics may be okay, but the adhesive is likely non compliant to temperature and sunlight!! Have not had any feedback from Keystone yet; as I have sent photos in of the decal.

Hi

We purchased our 2009 3665RE Montana new and the decals were peeling when the dealer showed it to us. It took them a year to finally get all the ones pealing replaced. That was a year ago and so far so good.

I do not think Keystone can be Happy with hundreds of keystone products on the road with crappy graphics. We have seen some horrible looking Montana's. For what ever reason Burlington Graphics is unable to solve the problem. If I were ordering I would do all I could to get a plain white wrapper and do graphics of my choice. If my graphics looked like many we have seen we would be very unhappy campers.

And we are not picking on keystone/Montana. We have seen crappy graphics on other brands. The graphics issue is one the industry has got to get under control. We know from the seminars at the fall they are trying but it is not working. I find it hard to beleive that Burlington can not find a formula for the graphics that will stay on the side of a RV. Most do...some do not..who is at fault

I am the 08 that Ellis is referring to, I am parked next to him here in Texas, I have completely removed the front graphics, and I may or may not replace. I have the replacement graphics that Keystone have sent me. I had no problems getting the replacements, but I am pretty sure what the outcome will be, they too will peel. Probably put them on before selling.

We full time(5 yrs) in our '03 3255RL. Decals are still on but the front decal is getting a little faded. All the rest are fine with just a little curling. We love our Monty, it's 35ft. of comfort and feels as much home as our house ever did. Would I buy another Montana? In a New York minute!! It's not as up to date or as ornate as the new models, but it fills the bill for us. Happy travels everyone (despite the price of diesel). When we get to the point of needing a new 5th wheel, it'll be a Monty!
