Newly Retired
Today was the last day of work. Even though we have been full timing for 3 years and traveled for the past year, it feels like a real release from confinement. Now we set our own schedule, change our minds or not, and see more of the country. We can go for a hike on tuesday, or wait for better weather. Wow! This is gonna be cool.
Looking forward to surveying Texas for our first winter south.
Look for us in a campground near you!

Gene,
Now you're going to have to start wondering how you ever found time to work! Enjoy yourself and don't try to see too much too soon. One thing about being retired: You can set your own schedule!

Way to go Gene, I'm sure you will enjoy every minute of your new lifestyle. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I have thrown the word "rushed" out of my vocabulary. As they say in Spain - manana (tomorrow).....Love the lifestyle.....
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Do what I do and don't start anything until noon, and don't start it twice.

Successful retirement doesn't mean no work. It means I get to chose the what, when, and where of it. Welcome to the realm of discretionary time.
