Table extension
Do the tables with the swivel top have a lock for the extension? Ours was all the way out banging against the chair when we arrived at the dealer for some warranty work. Last fifth wheel had a lock for traveling, what do you do?

It should lock in place when.you close it , if you have a strong vertical bump it could jarr it loose... I am.trying to come up with.a solution...

I have a snap tool, so I put a strap with a snap on the end to hold the extension in place when not in use.

It locks when pulled out as an extension, but put in, it just slides in and out with no place to seat securely. Fortunately, we had it in a position where it hit the chairs, turned the other way it would have banged up against the kitchen cabinets and counter extension.

Our slides in, then drops down and locks in. I could see a big bump jumping it out of the recess and sliding out. Never had it happen, but I suppose its possible.

Our table extension doesn't lock in either, only when it is extended. We have had it come out and hit against the chairs while traveling. I would like to come up with a lock for ours also!

I purchased a four dollar spring clamp at Lowes and attach it to the wood support under the table when we travel. It works very well and was a quick and inexpensive fix to an obvious design flaw by the manufacturers.

We use Velcro, you can purchase a roll at home depot or other store, just wrap around, keeps it secure, does not add weight and stores easily.

I emailed the furniture company at this site, http://rvfurnituremall.com/contact-us/ and they are sending out a strap kit to me.
