Kitchen drawer removal
I have tried and cannot figure out how to remove the drawers in the kitchen. I wanted to clean behind them. I see black levers on the side of slide and have pushed down and pulled it up but cannot figure out release..

If I remember correctly from previous forum postings, one goes up and the other goes down. Don't know for sure but worth a try.

Yep. One up and the other down.
Good luck.

You also might have to move the drawers back towards being in place slightly to remove tension from those plastic levers, too.
In my '06 3500rl, there is a release on either side of the drawer, just like you describe. I pulled the drawer out all the way until it stopped. Then I pushed it back in just a little bit. The left side release goes up and the right side release goes down, then this releases the drawer and you should be able to pull it out completely. Let us know if this works for you.
Be careful if you have not emptied the drawers or the weight will cause the drawer to drop suddenly and the contents fall to the kitchen floor. These items could cause damage to the floor (or your feet). You might strongly consider emptying the drawers first especially if you have sharp heavy objects in them and you've never done this before.

I looked online trying to help out and all that Decorite says is that the slides are lever released. Doesn't help much, but I assuming that you have found the levers on the slides.

Jim,
Are they like these in my slide-show? You can see how the plastic catch works there if so.
You really have to push hard to release them.

One up and one down, they used the same latch for both sides and reversed one for it to work, cheap solution. Marcia figured it out, I just do the heavy lifting.

Took Jim out and he wiggled the drawers, following your instructions, and got them out.. Thanks all, cleaned in there and removed the cover at bottom of stairs also, had a lot of dirt, dust and pieces of wiring. There was just a vent to the basement with cold air coming in so I plugged it with steel wool, what is that for to warm the storage area? Is this what they call heated storage?
