Washley1.... Did you go to a higher spec. wheel when you went with the G614's or just keep the pressure around 80 = 90 PSI instead of going to the 110 PSI the G614 is rated at.??
Sorry, been off the grid for the past two weeks! Yes, we got new wheels as well, as the stock wheels were only rated to 85 lbs, and you need 110 on the 614's. Yes, it was an expensive upgrade, but worth every penny in piece of mind!
How do you know what the stock wheel tire pressure is? Thinking of making a change...

Took the Mission tires off my 2008 Big Sky and put the GY G614s right on the OEM aluminum rims. They were rated at 110 psi. Have had the G614s on since early 2008. On my 2003 Big Sky I had generals, and Chinese 14 ply (G-rated) and all had tread failures, but the G614s have been very reliable. You can see how much we have traveled. Look at the map in my signature. Only the northeast and eastern Canada were traversed in the 2003. At 4 to 5 years since purchase, the tires are getting old even though they look good and will need to be replaced after my next adventure.
