Connex DVD

I can’t get a DVD to go in our new Connex DVD unit. Is there a secret to using this system? It is supposed to say LOAD when hitting the eject button, but it doesn’t say anything. I haven’t forced it all the way in, but it seems it would break first.

Reading a manual for their DVD player, it says you must push a button on the remote that has an arrow pointing into a box symbol repeatedly until the display says DVD or do the Eject button to go to the DVD mode. It also says you must have it powered ON first. Have you tried the method to scroll to the DVD mode? If that doesn't work, it may be DOA.

Yes, I arrowed over to DVD, hit the eject button and nothing. If Intry pushing the DVD in, it is very stiff. I stop about half way in and chicken out. No way to get the DVD out if it’s broken.

I downloaded the manual as well to see if they may have had more info - no difference.

Well, if that is the only issue with that new rig, you are golden.

We have had a few minor issues, but overall not bad. We purchased our last two Montana’s from the same dealer and they go through with a fine tooth comb. Still working on a satellite issue, but it’s looking more like a receiver problem.
