Hard, a socket head cap screw would work fine. http://www.fastener-express.com/socket-screws.aspx

On my 2003, 3670RL, it has two long (heavy) opposing slides. Those shear bolts have broken about three times now. May I suggest that you buy extra bolts and carry them with you while on the road.
