You have towed your Monte all over the country
and some of you have had CDL and long haul experience, but are you you ready to take this one on, a 110 wheeler?
Look at the trailer carriages. Each axle has 8 wheels. And there are 12 of those (one on the rear you can't see). That makes 96 wheels for the trailer. The truck (tractor) has 3 dual wheel axles (at least I think they were only dual and the two wheels on front. That makes a total of 110 wheels!
I see three pivot points on the rear. And 4 more on the front. Just wondering how they control and coordinate all those. It appeared the rear section could move at a 90 degree angle to either side if needed.
Would have liked to see it in action. Was there late Saturday afternoon, but gone by early Sunday.

Yep, worked installing phone to the sites where they set up those huge wind mills and they would bring the blades in on trucks kinda like that. The rear has a pony engine on it and they can move and steer the rear 90 deg in tight spots. But that looks like a heavy load not just long lol lol

I saw this load headed to Miami, AZ recently, took up both lane of the freeway. Here is a video someone took of it crossing Roosevelt Lake bridge. If you watch the railing on the right hand side and toggle back and forth between 6:30 and 7 minutes you can see the railing lose its arch. Also notice the pusher truck connected to the rear.

When General Motors installed transfer presses in their stamping plants, they utilized one like that, only it was painted red. The presses came from Japan and were shipped through the Panama canal, up the eastern sea board and through the St Lawrence seaway before being off loaded in various cities in Ohio, Michigan and Illinois for transport to the plant they were going to. The moves required a lot of planning to move utility wires out of the way and avoid bridges. Very impressive!

Oh heck, I bet he could have pulled that with a 150/1500 series TV. And then say "It pulls great".

We had a similar lowboy hauling a full blown "B1- Bomber" up I 5, last summer. I pulled off road to watch it crawl by at 25 MPH. Was on its way to Boeing in Wash. What a monster to tow. The Truck doing the pulling had duallys on two front axles! I got all excited like a "little girl", my wife laughed at my giddiness !

Hi
The heaviest building we ever moved was 2 stories and weighed rite at 100 tons. I pulled that with 18 wheels under the load but no steering on the rear most axels. We didn’t have any bridges to cross. That was 52 years ago.
