Broke a Slideout window

Where can I buy a window for my travel trailer ?

I broke a side slidout window while weedeating around my trailer.
Apparently, the weedeater picked up a small rock and threw it into the side window of my travel trailer. Result was bad.

At least it was one of the smaller windows that measures 25" wide and is 22-1/2" tall on the outside. I see screws on the inside side that apparently hold the window in.

Any advice on replacing a travel trailer window would be appreciated.

I believe you can get it cut at any glass shop but it needs to be safety glass. If you look on the window in the corner you should see tempered glass stamped on it.
I also believe you pull the rubber seal on the outside of the window to remove it and install the new one. Make sure it seals good.
I hope you are able to get it fixed. You may have glass breakage in your insurance.

Thanks for your reply,

I might be able to take the whole window out and take it to a glass shop and have them replace the glass there. I don't think I could tell the glass shop the right size with the radius on the edges.

Try a search on the internet for windows, you may find a replacement for a reasonable price.

Some of us have purchased full replacement windows from Kinro, INC. They have an office near Goshen. 2275 Bloomingdale Drive, Bristol, In. 46507 phone 574 848 9100. They will tell you how to measure your window. This is if you need to replace the whole window and frame.
Good luck.

I have no financial association with this company. They just gave me good support.

John.
I think it would be easy enough to replace the whole window frame and all. That way I would not have to get glass cut

On our first trailer I broke a side window with a tree limb. I took the entire trailer to a local glass shop an d they took it from there...installed it and everything. I don't remember the price, but I know it was reasonable. You might want to give that a try.

Thanks for the reply Jack,
In my case it may be as easy to remove the window from what I see, as my trailer is sorta locked into place at my country hideout. I did call one of the sources recommended somewhere, that being Atwood windows. They said they no longer make the windows for travel trailers. Hehr-International is a company I will call next.
