Movie: OZ the great and powerful!

The DW and I saw "OZ The Great and Powerful!" yesterday! Not to be confused with MOC's own "Great and Powerful OZZ" And no Jim, Sue didn't send any home movies either

Great flick, lots of vivid colors and IMAX 3D was awesome!

With the new technology there can be a point to remakes.

Kampk, I heard they had to get Ozz's permission for James Franco to play him in the movie.

It's only a rumor...

We just came back from seeing it. A little slow at first but still a good flick. Kind of cool the way thy tied in some of the original Wizard of Oz stuff. A good prequel.

You never know what can be learned on the MOC. We enjoyed attending a performance of Wicked while in Fort Lauderdale in February. It was interesting to learn the back-story for OZ as presented in the play. I bet OZ: The Great and Powerful would be a good grandparents and granddaughters outting.
