Dimplex Comes Through on Fireplace Repair

While at the rally our fireplace "flames" stopped flickering. Called Dimplex from the road on the way to visit friends here in Louisiana. They sent me the replacement motor here and arranged from a technician to come out and install it, all under warranty.

It seems most of us have had good luck with dimplex.

But it's still too bad their stuff breaks.

I will be taking my unit apart to try and figure out what's causing a clunking sound. When the rig is set up and you touch against the fireplace (to clean it or get ready to turn it on), there is a slight clunking sound like something is loose inside. Now it's on my list of things to investigate. Everything works, I just don't like hearing noises that were not there before.
