Frame problem

After David and Jo-Anna had a major failure of their frame at the axle area on there Big Sky I started checking mine all the time. Well yesterday I found that the left MorRyde suspension bracket is bending to the other side about 10 to 15 degrees. And the web of the I beam is starting to warp. And we never went to Alaska.

I first noticed that the lower kitchen wood panel was cracking under compression, now I know why. Because that side of the RV was sinking.

I am waiting for a return call back from Keystone so will keep you posted of what happens on this thread.

The reason for posting this is for all the Big Sky owners to keep a close eye on the frame when traveling. There is a lot of weight on that side of the rig, shower, refer, stove, microwave, TV, fireplace, two slide out assemblies and desk on the 340RLQ

It looks like we could be stuck in Fresno CA. any ideas of what is good to do in this area?

Happy camping,
Dick

Dick and Jackie, Sorry to hear of your frame problem. We do hope that you will get it taken care of quickly. Michael and Renee (GOFNUTS) live int the area (Lemoore)maybe they can give you a heads up on what to do while in Fresno. We will be down there on the 19th to go to a Trans Siberian Orchestra concert with Michael and Renee. If you are still in the area let us know.

Sorry to hear about you problem. If you have to spend any amount of time in Fresno, Yosemite National Park is not that far away and even though the big falls are dry it is still a beautiful place.

You also have Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park close by.
