Installed MORryde Storage Tray

Hi Folks,

I installed the MORryde storage tray in basement. See blog for more details.

Did the same thing a couple of days ago. I had to put some 1x6 under it to get it high enough to clear the sills. The ends were fine, but the middle cross brace was hitting. Installed it myself by sliding it from the truck bed into the basement. Used a piece of PVC as a roller so I didn't have to fight with it.

It's a 42 x 90. Very nice equipment. I got it from RadAuto. Excellent service and quick shipping. I picked it up at the trucking depot, as it's just as easy to get it from the dock. Shipping was free.

Very happy with it and probably one of the handiest things I've ever added to a fiver.

Very nice mods. I noticed both of you show the tray sliding out the drivers side. Do they slide in each direction or why did you choose not to slide out to the door side?

I have the 42x90 as well. They slide both directions and work well. Main thing is it is surprising how much losing a few inches on each side matters in storage. Overall though the are nice and definitely a back saver.

Yes they slide out about 60% in either direction. My blog shows picture on both sides, and link to installation video.

I got it from Amazon, free shipping to my door (residents). There are many sizes, and the are outside dimension, so tray will be about 3″ less on the width.

I installed this on my Montana also. I turned 2x6's edge ways and screwed them down with L shaped brackets and then installed the tray on top of the 2x6's. This gave me more room underneath the tray to store my 7' step ladder and other things . The room underneath was more useful to me than stacking stuff on top of each other on top. It's certainly easier to organize your things with this tray. This is a very good mod.
