While sitting here in the BLM in Quartzsite we noticed our left door with the flapper on the Dometic frig would not close with out some massaging. Turns out the flapped was getting hung up on the bottom and subsequently broke the lower hinge area on the door.
Since we are still in warranty we called our dealer back in Pocono, PA. Our salesman said he would track down someone out here that could service it.
He called back in 5 minutes with the phone number for RV Lifestyles who handle Montana warranty work.
We called over there and they said they could handle it and asked if we could stop to fill out paperwork.
So I took pictures of the door and manufactures label on the door and drove the 10 miles to see them.
We spoke with the service manager who took our info, filled out a claim and while we were standing there called Dometic.
He said door would be in his shop 2 to 3 days.
Well we got a call yesterday that the door was in, 2 days after we stopped in.
So we picked up the door (I was not going to break down our set up to take the rig into town) took the old door off and replaced it with the new one, albeit having to take all the misc. components off including the wood panel and an hour later the new door was on.
We have been blessed with a great dealer and getting great service from the companies we have dealt with.
We highly recommend RV Lifestyles in Q and Pocono RV in Pocono, PA.
