2009 Florida RV SuperShow***TODAY AT 2PM****

2009 Florida RV SuperShow

The RV SUPER Show takes place WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 14 - SUNDAY, JANUARY 18, 2009. On the Friday (Jan 16) I would like to see as many MOCers join Lorraine and I at the Montana Booth. Nothing formal, no camping, no overnighting. Just a get together for a face to face amongst our beloved Montana's. At about 2PM we will all get together and have a group picture taken.
The Super Show is the first BIG RV show of the 2009 season. At this show we get to see all the new Montys and other SOBs. We also get to meet many of the Montana folks from Goshen.

NOTE--You enter the show thru the Expo Hall which is on the right side of the SHOW MAP. The Montana (Keystone RV) display is located in the "Special Events Center". On the SHOW MAP you will find the Special Events Center at the bottom of the map.

There will be most of the models there

On EDIT... On Friday, January 16th, would anyone be interested in meeting at the Cracker Barrel at Lazy Days for breakfast? The RV Show opens at 9AM and I was thinking about breakfast at 8AM. Cracker Barrel is about 3 miles from the show.

Glenn, this will be our first winter in sunny Florida and we wouldn't miss seeing you and Lorraine at the show! We are really looking forward to any time we can spend with you and our fellow MOC'ers!

Since we are too far away to attend, give us a report on what is left standing in the industry.

It was the general consensus of the 14 MOC folks who had lunch a couple of days ago most of whom are going to the Tampa show that 8AM was a bit early not to meet for bkfst but to get up in time to get there at 8 AM. Perhaps a group can meet a bit later at the same place for brunch. We see no need to be at the show when it opens at 9am. Perhaps more later.

Glenn..Are these the directions to the cracker barrel???
I-4 Lakeland Exit 31 to exit 10. From Lakeland approx 25 miles.

According to Google the fairgrounds are 53.3 miles from our campground.

Rich, 53.3 miles should be dead on the money. The Cracker Barrel is at exit 10. Same exit for Lazy Days, Camping World and Flying J. The Fairgrounds is just off exit 7. At exit 7 you get on Rte 301 south. The FG entrance is about a half mile south on the right.

BTW...It's not on the RV Show website but there is a $5.00 parking fee in addition to the posted admission price. The parking fee is charged by the Fairgrounds, the admission is charged by the show operators.

Glen, we will be at Recreation Plantation in Lady Lakes that week but plan on doing a day trip to the rally to meet all of those going and to have our picture taken with you. Sorry can't meet for breakfast but looking forward to meeting other Mocers.
