The post with the link to a past forum post will explain why your system is stopping and starting, due to a faulty auto reset breaker.
The MORryde rubber equalizer problem you have is fairly easy to repair. Just call MORryde at, 574-293-1581, and they can sell you replacement shear springs for the equalizer. This is the link to the manual-

I replaced ours a year or two ago, probably didn't really need to as it turned out I had a broken leaf spring, but I went ahead and did it anyway. Old and new rubber springs in the photo.
