Sue,
I am sorry to hear a streak of bad luck has once again hit you and your family. I will be keeping your mother and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Sue, very sorry for your family situations that are causing such a huge burden. We don't mean to add to your stress, by any means. We'll hold your mother up in our prayers, and we will have the confidence of Faith that the wedding will go off smoothly.

We're a family here. I believe you can count on our support.

(...if maybe... just maybe... we could just label the maps? Not following any rules, or anything like that, you understand... just maybe... but if you don't want to, you don't have to... just a tiny suggestion?)

If it becomes such a problem for others, I'll be happy to remove my map. There doesn't have to be rules any more than there are pretty much open rules on what we put in our signature block. I only use it because it tells me where I've slept.

Orv, I'm just kidding... I think the maps are fine just like people are using them.

Hey Folks!
Lighten up on the "Map issue". It's just for fun. If you simply can name all the states and provinces and you want to fill them in then that would be fine! If you want to count only the states you have slept in in your Montana then that is fine! Whatever you want is fine. There are no rules and we see NO need for rules. Lighten up and enjoy!

If you use the map AND you WANT to tell everyone your reason for filling in the states then do so! BUT do NOT feel like you must do something like that! It is entirely up to you. Make yourself happy. Like Ricky Nelson said..... "You can't please everyone so you've got to please yourself".

Thank you,

RVWheels

Sue Our prayers are with you and your family. Life is full of challenges. My mother is in a nursing home but is doing fairly well. At least her mind is still sharp. Go in peace

On the other topic. Thank you RV Wheels. I was getting sick of all the people setting rules. Do what you want. This is a free country. At least I think it still is.

Thank you RV Wheels. I would like this forum to remain the FUN, informative place it is now. And also the avenue though which we make GREAT friends.
Thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers for my Mother. She is in a very nice facility and they are taking good care of her.

How can we get so wound up about how to color a MAP..it is just a map.It does not have to make sense to anyone but the person filling it in. this is so insignificant..Is there a full moon out or something???

Well those little maps are a nice custom but we do not bother with it.We know where we have been and still have retained enough memory cells to recall without having to look at a colored in map.We have a lot of Pictures, Movies, Etc..maybe some day we will get one of those maps and fill it in.

Rich spend a coupel of them dollars in your wallet. it's not to refresh your memory, it's so you dont have to keep telling everybody where the heck you two have been. so they see you been to,-- example( Utah ) it a word saver, sorta, they can then ask you how you liked the weather. you know what I mean.

It's getting a little late at night, maybe... I am assuming these are all rhetorical questions?

Hate to ask a personal question, Rich, but... do you talk in your sleep?

Don't need a map for two reasons. I'm a guy and my wife tells me where to go periodically anyway!

On second thought maybe I'll post one coloring the places we haven't been yet just to keep things more confusing.

You've got it covered, Dave. May you add many more colors to your first map. Our criteria, if the Montana has been in a state, it's colored. I don't care if we've slept there or not. To each, his own. That's ours.
