Who has the best prices on the Honda EU2000

Where is a good place to buy a Honda Generator and where is the best place to have it while it is running. Thanks.

We got our 2000Eui out of New Jersey. And outfit called Mayberry's. Very good price and outstanding service. I think we paid about $879 or $849.... plus shipping. I needed it in hurry so got Express delivery which cost $40 extra but the rig was at my house on the west coast in two days!

When we run the generator we run it in the front under the overhang or we take it to the back of the rig and run it back there. Sort of depends of weather and location. We like to secure it to the rig with a huge cable but understand that a good cable cutter would make short work of that. So we like to try to keep it out of sight.

Folks that have the larger units sometimes attach them to the bed of their trucks then just run them from the truck bed. I've seen some of them on the rear of a trailer in a cage like thing. It's pretty much whatever works for you. The 2000s are portable enough to not be a problem.

Good luck and Happy Travels.

We have a Yamaha 3000 SEB which weighs 150 pounds. It rides in the corner of the truck bed behind the driver and has sat there since June before we left for Alaska. It is secured to the hitch frame with a Kryptonite cable that we purchased at Walmart. The unit is so quiet that the other night when we ran it while parked at Cracker Barrel, I walked up to the truck and couldn't even tell Glen had turned it on. There are issues with putting a large generator on the back of the Montana, such as cancelling your frame warranty.

Bought mine 2 years ago for $ 875.00 with Free Shipping, from Alamia Power Equip (Colorado), they don't show their generator prices on the web, but you can call them Toll Free at: 1-800-861-0029

Check Mayberry's as HamRad has sugguested. I believe you can get about the best price from them. I bought two of them locally when they were in such demand and paid $999.00 each. To much, but did not want to wait for 6 months to get them.

Mayberry's is about 15 miles from me and when I went to buy mine they were out of stock. I took their add and went to camping world and they honored their price.

We bought 2 from Hayes Equipment for $899 w/shipping. They were good to deal with. 800-375-7767. Its hard to price out Honda generators on the web since Honda doesn't allow dealers to do so.

I took a copy of "Trailer Life" that had an ad for the Honda 2000 for $895 with free shipping to the local Honda dealer and they matched the price. It might work for you, if the local dealer is hungry/smart.
