Doug it is 80 miles from LA, south of Lake Elsinor, off Interstate 10 in Temecula Ca.

Don,
The park is really nice isn't it! When we were down that way we visited the casino and while there we toured the RV park. Do you remember what the rates were? And I wonder if they have group rates? I agree it would make a great place to have a Rally. Tons of stuff to do around the area. And isn't it only about 80 to 100 miles or so to the San Diego area?
Thanks for the update and the pictures. Someone seems to be enjoying themselves.

We've been to Pechanga several times. Great place. They have a shuttle that goes through the park about every 20 minutes or so that makes a "run" to the Casino. There is 24 hr. security and the park is quiet. The center section of the park has pull-thru's and the perimeter spaces are back-in's. The only thing is try and get towards the middle of the park or towards the "backside". The spaces on the north perimeter are right across the street from the fire station and the main road going to the parking structure---gets a bit noisy as the fire folks tend to run-up their engines & stuff about 6:00am at shift change (I assume) & the road traffic is quite heavy around midnight. As said before, the Temecula area has lots of stuff to do. The park is about 35 miles from the Wild Animal Park near Escondido and I'd say 60-65 miles from San Diego. Here is their website that outlines all of the rates, amenities and most important: directions...!

It is a great park and so close to my house. One correction to Don's post. It is off Interstate 15. Besides all the things mentioned on their web site, there is fishing and boating at nearby Lake Skinner and fishing at the new Diamond Valley Resvoir. Also Temecula has a fantastic mall. And only a few of the area's restaurants are mentions on their web site. Plus the Casino has an excellent Buffet. There is also a hotel on the property.
Happy trails.......................
