Just back from 3900 mile trip:)
Well the trip is over and no problems to mention. Learned alot about towing the 335rlbs with my Duramax/Allison and will share with others if interested.
Only problem we had was main awning ripped about 5-6" up at trailer connection due to high winds and our being away. We were away from the campgrounds but the folks at Durango East lowered all awnings that were up for the campers, very thoughtful. Hopefully this can be repaired.
We saw many Montana's and a few Mountaineers on the road and flashed and waved but none repllied or acknowledged in any way.
Had considerably different weather than we expected but over all had a great time over the 16 days.
Hey Montana owners flash when you see another one.
Thanks for all the pre trip help and question answering.

Yea Bob,
Glad you had a good trip. If you can find a good upholstery shop I'll bet it can be repaired. Maybe a Boat cover place.
Happy camping

Bob, I am interested on the Duramax towing eperiences. Are you stock? Problems to watch for, etc?
Thanks in advance.
