Adjusting Television lift???

The infrared receiver on our TV sits about 1/2" below the surrounding desk surface, so some contortions are involved in getting the remote elevated properly. I've tried to figure out how to get the lift adjusted so that it rises a bit higher, but have been totally unsuccessful. I've also tried to find an instruction manual on the internet to no avail.

Does anyone know how to adjust the rise on these things?

On ours there is two set screws to adjust on the back side just below the top of the fireplace.

If it is like ours the tv needs to be removed. There are two brackets mounted to rear of tv that slips over lifting mechanism. The brackets have several holes and there are four screws mounting these brackets. take the four screws out and move the bracket down one hole or as many as needed. Remount tv and now tv comes up the distance you moved bracket more than before.
