Mountaineer black tank flush
Does anyone know if the new mountaineer 5th wheels are equipped with a black tank flush? We're picking up our 2007 307RKD next month and I want one installed, the salesman says they already have it. After reading all kinds of info I cant find any confirmation of that. Thanks!

I have an early 2006 344RET and it does not have one. I believe they are standard on the 2007's, but not sure.

None on our 06. I installed the "tornado" right after I brought it home.

I installed one tornado and it blew the hose off due to too much pressure backing up. So I added a second tornado. I do not hardly use chemicles anymore. And best of all the tank is clean enough that I have no odor.

We have a 344RET 07 and it did come with a black tank flush, and it works great. So far the gage work great also, we have been in the rig for about 10 weeks, in Texas.

Hiya,
We are picking up a 2007 319BHD this Friday, and it does indeed come with a black water flush. The connection is right next to the regular water hookup. Hope this helps.

When I ordered my '07 342PHT I was informed it was "a required option". In other words, it comes with one.

I just picked up our 2006 344RLT with no black water tank flush. We use a Flush King, and although it takes time to flush and drain the tank, my wife and I have it down to about 30 minutes to flush all 3 tanks several times. Use chemicals when heading out so that when actually flushing the tank, you're hit with a bit more "pleasant" smell. I know that it takes a maximum of 3 min, 30 seconds to fill the black water tank, then 2 minutes for the tank to drain to a point with I can begin the fill cycle again. And in observing the "color" of the water coming out of the water tank, I can tell when the tank is "good and clean". I don't initially drain the tank - I coordinate with wife who's inside on the panel watching the tank level. As soon as it back-fills from the Flush King to the full-light coming on, I shut off the water and pull the drain. Two minutes later, I begin the fill cycle... etc. Usually 3 cycles will do a great job on cleaning out the tank. As a last resort (or if it's going to be inactive for a while) , I get out the PVC capped pipe and go down from the top to be sure the sidewalls and level probes have a chance of "getting a bath". Although it takes time, peace of mind (in regards to this maintenance activity) has set in...
