Remove wall paper accent strip in Kitchen
I have seen this discussion before but can't seem to find it. My question is, will the wall paper accent come off as regular wallpaper would, or was some type of an adhesive used to bond to the paper to the vinyl surface. Any suggestions would be welcome.
Thank you

It is an adhesive backed border and when I took out the cheap glass behind the stove...it was there as well....so had to pull it off in order to install glass mosaic tiles. I can't remember it ripping the vinyl covering on the wallboard when I removed it. I do remember some adhesive residue left on the wall that I used goo be gone to remove. John

Goo be gone worked for us, didn't affect the wallboard at all. Lots of repetitive elbow grease.

Thanks to all for all of the great input. I had a feeling that the accent stripe was a peel and stick type product than a water bases wallpaper pre pasted. I will start with warming up trailer and then add some heat to the area I want to remove. Then just take my time to pull off.
Thanks to all, Keith

Ours came off very easy. I just slowly pulled one side. Left no residue.
