Reminder on things to bring to the Fall Rally!

Just a reminder for the "oldtimers" and the "newbies/first timers": The electrical hookup, sewer dump pipe and the water faucet for the hookups are all at the rear of the sites, so bring extra sewer hose and extra water hose if you want the "comforts of home" while at the Fall Rally! If you wonder how much extra to bring-- measure from the water and sewer hookups on your Montana to the back of the unit and then add about 5-6 foot, just to be on the safe side, to that for the amount to bring. Don't forget all the sites are back-ins with no pull-thru's.

REMINDER AGAIN-- Don't forget that extra water hose and sewer hose for the Rally! If you don't bring it with you, you will just have to go to Menards, Wally World or Tiara RV and get that extra length because it is a long way back from the sewer dump pipe on your unit to the back of the unit and beyond to the sewer pipe in the ground for your use and one length of sewer hose WILL NOT REACH. If you have a unit that has the convenient center you will need that extra length of hose because the water faucet for your fresh water is also at the back of the unit too.

There will be plenty of helpers to get you parked in your spot if you need it

There are also some that like to sit by and watch those that are parking their unit and then give them a rating 1-10! Kind of like scoring the diving competitions! Right gang! LOL Seriously, if help is needed there will always be someone there that will help IF YOU ASK FOR IT!

Last year we had to back within one inch of the pedestal to reach the sewer. This year we have an extra length of hose. Lesson learned. We now carry a 20' 50 amp extension cord, three 25' water hoses and 30' of sewer hose. JUST IN CASE.

If nothing else, one time attending the Fall Rally will remind us all of the scouting motto

See ya all soon!

Now you know why we're here so early. It will take me that long to back in. Bill can do it faster, but I need the practice. Last year I backed in perfectly the first time except I was in the wrong site.

The rally isn't the only place where lessons are learned. We now travel with a total of three lengths of sewer hose, three lengths of water hose and a 25' 50 amp extension cord. We have never had to use everything all at once, but have had to use the full extent of each of our hookups on more occasions than the MOC rally.
