We got Molly from the shelter. (5.5lb Maltese) Was about 6ys old, a breed dog, quit producing so they threw her away. For the next 11 years or so she was DW's dog. Did not shed, never barked for the first 3 years, then when she did learn to bark it was just a soft one squeek, like see me, I want some attention.

She went everywhere with DW

We think she had a stroke, could not walk right and was blind. We had to put her down 10/1 but she still travels with us. We miss her so much.

Oh my gosh, what a sweet dog! My heart goes out to you. But it looks like you have many happy memories. And it sounds like you were fortunate to have found her and she you.

When we're ready we need to look at shelter dogs.

What a wonderful story and tribute to Molly. We should all be so lucky (both pet and people).

We love our Pug and she is a great traveler, but if dog hair is a problem, I would look at a different breed
