Bedroom slide repaired
Today has been a busy day. Besides tires and other things, we did get to pick Hanna up from the RV hospital today.
I'm just going to hit on a couple big things, because some may encounter the same problem.
When washing Hanna, we notice there would be two small puddles of water on the desk top of the 3400RL. Well, the resealed the R/I Data Connector, and the window. Let's hope that takes care of the problem. I'll let you know
While operating the slides, I noticed the bedroom slide did not look right when going in or out. The "headboard" part appeared to be dropping more than normal when extending and bumping up hard when retracting. The categorized it as:
"Bedroom slide out dropping hard."
The found a loose nut on the S/O frame (bed support). They removed the access panel and tightened the loose nuts on the HYD frame and tested it to OK.
The fixed the front cap scratch that someone at the dealership put on the corner of the cap. Re-fiberglassed and gel coated.
The installed a parallel 50 amp breaker on the slide out line and tested the slide outs. All worked without stopping.
All the above was warranty work.
There was a lot of piddling stuff that was warranty work also.
At our request, they installed a riser bottom and new toilet. We had to pay the difference on an upgrade but now my knees don't have to bend so far. No more discussion than that is needed. (Squat like a lady gents, and keep the DW happy)
Now to end this. When in the stick house, put down both lids. When DW or DD asks you why you put down both lids, reply, "If I have to lift one, so do you!"
