The guy that did the demo on my first SOB fiver told me to turn that switch off when on shore power. I did that the first time out. All interior stuff worked ok but when I tried to leave the slides wouldn't work. The Battery had only 4 volts left. Called the dealer for help and after 20 minutes of troubleshooting discovered the problem. Have never turned one off since and don't really know why I would.

Once again, wouldn't it have been nice for that info to be in the owners manual! Unfortunately, we all have to learn by experience. Makes this forum so important.

ditto, knife blade disconnect on the Negative side. If I'm working on the rig I never trusted the useless red key, how can you call it a battery disconnect when it doesn't disconnect everything on the 12v side?
