New Montana we looked at.
Well we went to the Pomona RV show and looked at the new Montana 3791 RD. WOW was it ever nice their front room was a step up which made the cabinets near the roof accessible then they used the space under the front room for storage in the basement all the way through 2 compartments, kitchen had a monster Frig lots of storage too, the bedroom was very cool too, a must see in real time. http://cdn.lakeshore-rv.com/wp-conte...d--456x342.png

That sure is a possibility. I think self discipline would be a required attribute for ownership.
I'd still like to get a look at one.

We saw one after the plant tour in Goshen. It was really neat. Somehow, the step up to the den made the whole thing seem bigger. It did have an awful lot of storage and not sure what we would need it for. We don't have our front basement full and Hubby is already telling me I have "too much crap." Guess I could use it to store all those rocks I plan to pick up in each state we visit - you know - like Lucy did in The Long, Long Trailer. That would keep it from adding any pin weight.

They had it at the Rally. It looked odd with steps at both ends.

It was the only model at the factory that I had any real interest in and liked it a LOT! Not enough to trade in our 2013 though.

Home
Scroll down, Montana (Keystone)
Floorplans, view all.
3790RD or 3791RD
When I clicked the 3790, at the bottom of the page there were photos and the first photo I saw was that raised living room.
Not sure this will work, but??
Not sure it is legal here on size, will have to check that out after I post. OK, looks ok on preview.

I really like it. I remember, walking into it at Goshen and saying "Oh, it's a front living. No. Wait! This can't be right . . ." It was a little discombobulating at first.

If you liked the pictures, you'll love the unit in person. The pictures don't do it justice.
Had I have not added disk brakes and IS, or if Howard Hughes had left me in his will, like he promised ( ), I would have ordered one.

With the step up in the living area, you're giving up the extra cabinet space that you usually have around the perimeter of the living room, for some that isn't a concern. It has a nice aesthetic feel and I do agree it is an appealing floorplan and something to consider, but I'd rather have the inside cabinet storage and accessibility. We travel south for 5 months of the year and we don't fill our current basement the way it is and I carry extra supplies for my woodworking business.

Walked into one a week ago at a dealers lot, looked at over 30 different trailers and kept coming back to the 3790rd, needless to say a bit of negotiating later and we will picking ours up on Wednesday of this week. Cruiser CF345RF is now officially traded in for the Montana... now to get used to the extra 5 - 6 feet of trailer behind again as its been 3 yrs since I've had a 40ft trailer on behind..... small price to pay for having such a nice unit, the storage is amazing and we really luv the 3 separate living spaces.

We really like ours. Haven't done any extended stays just a couple 5 day trips so far. Feels pretty big when it's all opened up. Looks pretty big sitting in the drive.
We really like the storage drawers under the living room nice touch

It does look amazing; however, I don't think my knees could handle another set of steps.
