Slide Adjustment Advice

On our 2013 3150RL, the door side slide, which is the entertainment center and fireplace, is out of adjustment. In the closed position, the front side is out about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch further than rear. This is a single actuator and guide. It does look like the four nuts on the plate has moved a little. Lippert manual does not address single guide. Tomorrow, I'm going to take all my measurements and call Lippert. Dealer wanted to drop spare, remove underbelly, break weld and reweld actuator bracket. Told him no and picked it up. Very long story there. Anyone been through this on small slide. Thanks.

Yes it can be done without cutting and welding. You need to partially extend the slide, then support the slide, remove/loosen one of the gear/roller assemblies move one end of the slide in or out as required and bole it back together. Basically you are jumping a couple of teeth on the gear rack.

We had a similar issue on our 3160 took it back to the dealer and they put shims where the teeth in the roller gear are basically flat washers and that fix the problem

If you are only talking about say 1/2" difference ... on the non driven slide arm there are two bolts on top of a plate. The holes are slotted. Loosen the two bolts and shove the slide in or out as needed. Retighten the bolts. Don't loosen the 2 bolts on the plate with the pusher bolt ... these adjust tilt. Do not do any adjustment that requires jumping teeth on a gear rack as the change will be way too much for what you describe.

Thanks everyone but now I'm really confused. I don't have but one guide arm right in the middle of slide. It's the 5 ' slide on door side. There is an actuator rod with the nuts to adjust the in and out and the guide tube with the gears and assembly. On the guide tube there is a plate with 4 carriage bolts and slotted plate to move forward and aft. Diesel guy isn't yours the same on that slide? Sent pics to Lippert today. I know it's not a big gap but it has worn a hole in seal for pulling in too tight on rear side.

Mine is the same ... I guess I was just zoned out. I'd say with the slide about 1/3 way out barely loosen the bolts on the plate and skew the room the direction needed, then retighten the bolts.

Our 2015 3791RD is in the shop now for repair of the dinette slide bottom and slide adjustments. I found the dinette slide was scraping screws on the inside floor plate which scraped at the bottom of the slide as it came in and out. The kitchen slide brackets that attach to the hydraulic arms are slightly bent. The repair shop says this is very common due to the weight of the slide with the res fridge. Anyone else see these issues with their rigs?
